Zebra Pinata!

This is my first attempt at making a pinata. I knew I wanted to get Audrey something zoo animal related since that was the theme of her birthday party. Originally I was thinking maybe a tiger, but then realized she'd never be able to bring herself to beat a cat, even if it was made out of paper. So, I settled on a zebra. Still stripey, but not feline--perfect! I went online to see if I could find a store that sells pinatas in the City that wasn't deep in the outer Mission. Low and behold! I found Fantastico! This store is amazing. It's this giant warehouse filled with everything you need to craft or throw a party. I'm talking glittery feathers, styrofoam balls, realistic looking fake fruit, an aisle dedicated to tiny hats, and (yay!) pinatas. But, alas, no zebras. Plan B. I bought a standard rainbow burro pinata and decided to refurbish it. I stripped off its paper and got black and white tissue paper, glue stick, and my trusty pair of scissors. So here it is, my finished creation. Mostly zebra-y with a touch of llama in there too. After all that, Audrey still couldn't break it open. Go figure.
